What we collect
When you sign up for the waitlist or a paid plan we collect:
- Account data — email address, name (optional), company / organization (optional), professional role, and any drugs you elect to monitor on your watchlist.
- Payment data — handled entirely by Stripe; we never see or store your full card number. We retain only Stripe customer IDs and subscription metadata.
- Usage data — basic web analytics (pages visited, referrer, approximate region from IP). We do not use third-party advertising trackers.
- Communications — emails you send us, and the content of email digests we send to you.
How we use it
- To deliver the service: send shortage digests, alerts, and reports you've subscribed to.
- To process payments and manage your subscription.
- To improve the service: aggregate, anonymized usage analytics inform what content and features we build.
- To send transactional product updates. We will not send marketing email without explicit opt-in.
Who we share with
We share data only with the third-party providers strictly required to deliver the service:
- Stripe — payment processing.
- Hostinger — transactional email delivery (SMTP).
- Cloudflare — content delivery network and DDoS protection.
We do not sell your data. We do not share your data with advertisers, brokers, or unaffiliated marketers.
Data retention
We retain account data for as long as your account is active and for up to 24 months after cancellation for tax and audit purposes, unless you ask us to delete it sooner.
Your rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time. EU residents (GDPR), California residents (CCPA/CPRA), and residents of other jurisdictions with applicable rights laws may exercise their statutory rights by emailing contact@vialwatch.com. We will respond within 30 days.
Cookies
We use only essential cookies required to keep you signed in. We do not use third-party advertising or tracking cookies.
Security
We use industry-standard encryption (TLS 1.2+) for all data in transit and at rest where supported by our infrastructure providers. No system is perfectly secure; you use the service at your own risk.
Children
VialWatch is intended for professional / business use and is not directed to children under 16.
